Smart is a simple, easy to use accounting software system. Smart is an upgrade of the GAAP General Ledger and Reporting System, used by over four thousand users in the Republic of South Africa. The developer is a Chartered Accountant who designed the original “DOS” system in 1981. The Lite module is easy to use for beginners and is suitable for home accounting, students learning applications and reports for tax returns.
